2017 Annual Certification Requirements Announced

A July 12th memo announces the 2017 Annual Technology Certification Requirements to agency heads and CIOs.  There are three parts to the certification:

  • A certification form for the agency to note compliance or non-compliance with identified policies.  This form must be signed by the agency head and agency CIO and submitted to the OCIO Annual Certification mailbox.  Where non-compliance exists, agencies must also submit waiver requests containing information about actions being taken to achieve compliance.  Waivers should be submitted to the Policy and Waiver mailbox.
  • An application inventory using a tool supplied by the OCIO.  The tool is new this year.
  • Security attestation and related documentation.

The OCIO will hold a training session on July 26th at 1500 Jefferson St., Room 1213.  There is also a WebEx option for this training.
