3rd Annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Washington State participates in the 3rd annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day

The purpose of Global Accessibility Awareness Day is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different disabilities. This event will focus on accessibility awareness within WA State Government.

We are excited to announce that Debra Cook, the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Washington Assistive Technology Program at University of Washington, will be presenting on Accessibility and its importance. In addition, we have a presentation by Dan Comden, also from the UW, and Hadi Rangin. Hadi will be doing a screen reader demonstration for the group. A final agenda will be sent later this week.

We are now taking RSVPs for the event at or email Ryan Leisinger.

This event is sponsored by the OCIO.

Thursday, May 15, 2014 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
