OCIO publishes annual independent recommendations on oversight of IT projects

The state Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has published its third annual Independent Recommendations on Oversight of IT Projects, as required under section 151(1)(a)(iii) of the 2021-23 Operating Budget (ESSB 5092).
This report summarizes the observations of the master level project managers working in 2021 with IT projects under OCIO oversight and presents their recommendations on IT project oversight resulting from this work with state agencies as well as their collective knowledge and expertise.
